Tweaking the blog layout and trying to learn how to encourage more followers. I hope people find the layout easy read and use. Learning new things is so exciting to me. I am always interested in learning. It helps keep me sharp. You know I wasn't really prepared for all the post 50 years of age things that are coming up. Scary, frustrating, angering things. But also positive things...at least I'm sure there are positive things. I'll get back to you when I can remember them.
On another note, do any of you have to participate in continuing education or certification course work for your careers, professions or jobs? As a Chiropractor I have to take 36 hours of continuing ed every 2 years. The deadline is closing in. It is March 31 this year. I always say I'm going to work at it regularly then next thing I know it is close and I haven't done any hours. Oh I'm going to be spending some weekends sitting...in a lecture...ugh. To add insult to injury I am also a part-time faculty for Sinclair Community College and I spent 8 hours today sitting in a certification course. Now I will say the information was very good and I did learn today...but sitting 9 hours..not so great. Especially if I'm not stitching. And speaking of sitting for 8 hours..the chairs today...oh boy. Who makes chairs out of hard wood that the seat is too high for someone 5'6" or shorter and the seat slants backward from front to back. I mean seriously I could not sit with my feet flat on floor. I am average height!! No danger of dozing off. Maybe that was the point. Well thanks for stopping by. Penny
