Waiting....underneath the snow, the snow that feels like it has been here for an eternity and is never going to leave us. Weighing us down like heavy sandbags causing us to drag and slow. Waiting...underneath the snow....warm in the ground is new life. Ready, ready to burst forth...pushing, pushing, pushing up from the cover of the ground, and grass and scrub and snow over top. Beautiful and glorious the first blooming plants of Spring. Often missed because they can push up through the snow to bloom.
Take heart. It is there waiting all the Spring!! Soon we can cast off the heaviness of Winter and feel the lightness and freshness of Spring. It's there...just waiting...holding it's breath.
