Goodness, I never been one to complain much about the weather because I just always worked to be content with whatever God is providing at the moment....but I must say I am not as content with these sub zero temperatures as I might have been a year or two ago. I will say I am thankful that I am self-employed and also a part-time faculty for a local community college so I was able to stay in yesterday. I did have to come out to see patients today. I don't think the office temperature has reached 60 degrees yet and I've been here since 9:00 am. Maybe it will be 60 by the time I'm ready to leave for the day, hah.
The nice thing about another day in was getting some more work done on my Snooty Parrot Sampler by Barbara Ana Designs. I get so involved that my neck and elbows starting cramping up. I am stitching this on a 36 count linen. I cannot imagine how hard it would be to see if I was using the recommended 40 count linen. I guess it's time to shop for some kind of magnification and task lighting to enhance my already bi-focaled eyes. Here's my progress so far:

I am loving the colors and detail so far of this sampler. It is going to be fairly large. I am trying to decide what else I want to work on during this year. I have a lot of things I can start on in my stash. What is everyone's stitching and creating plans for the year?
Thanks for visiting!

I look forward to seeing the finished product!
