Snow and Stitching..... and Learning to Blog

So I typed my post and was trying to upload a couple of pics and lost it all.  Well bother.  I am going to try and not give up after only one post.  Hah!

Ooooh, looks like I finally got one pic in.  This is the snow that rearranged my day.  I guess we only have about 4-5 inches right now but we have ongoing blowing and dropping temps.  Brrrr...this is not as fun as when I was younger.  The good part about the snow is that now I can spend more time working on my stitch-a-long project I mentioned in my first post.  I am having a lot of fun so far with this sampler and have learned that I really enjoy samplers and look forward to getting into vintage type samplers and needlework.

My fearless 9 year old Rat Terrier, Sidney is not thrilled about the snow either.  I opened the door for her to go out and she looked at me like, "yeah right" and promptly turned around and got back in her comfy spot on the couch.

Hopefully all of you out there are staying safe and warm if you are in the path of this storm.  January 2014 here we go.
